On Saturday, January 21, Madonna joined thousands of other women to protest against the 45th President of the United States.

The comments that was made by Madonna received mixed reviews and also cause some networks to stop their live feed of the march.

"And to our detractors that insist that this march will never add up to anything, f*** you," said the 58 year old pop diva. “Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged,” she said. “Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House. But I know this won’t change anything.”

Her words drew immediate criticism on social media. On Youtube, where the speech was posted live and in recorded formats, several users called the singer "evil."

Despite being very vocal about President Trump, Madonna has decided to clear up her comments she made. Her response to the backlash is below.

"Yesterday's Rally. was an amazing and beautiful experience. I came and performed Express Yourself and thats exactly what i did. However I want to clarify some very important things. I am not a violent person, I do not promote violence and it's important people hear and understand my speech in it's entirety rather than one phrase taken wildly out of context. My speech began with " I want to start a revolution of love." ♥️ I then go on to take this opportunity to encourage women and all marginalized people to not fall into despair but rather to come together and use it as a starting point for unity and to create positive change in the world. I spoke in metaphor and I shared two ways of looking at things — one was to be hopeful, and one was to feel anger and outrage, which I have personally felt. However, I know that acting out of anger doesn’t solve anything. And the only way to change things for the better is to do it with love. It was truly an honor to be part of an audience chanting “we choose love”. 🙏🏻🇺🇸♥️🙏🏻🇺🇸♥️🙏🏻🇺🇸♥️🙏🏻🇺🇸♥️🙏🏻🇺🇸#revoltutionoflove♥️#revolutionoflove♥️*******************************************************"

in Washington DC, tens of thousands more are expected to turn out to stand up for gender equality, healthcare for women and other issues thought to be threatened under Trump's presidency.

Among the famous faces joining the protests are singer Cher, Harry Potter star Emma Watson and The Avengers actress Scarlett Johansson.

Do you think Madonna should be investigated on her comments she made about the WH, or should they just let her be?

Me personally, I could give a fuck less. Why should we care about somebody that really doesn't care about us? This man has the worst approval rating ever in history. So unless this man is really gonna bring change for the greater good and make everything equal for everybody, I'm not going to be here for it in no way shape or form.
